On wednesdays, we wear black.

I've just started a new job working for a well known motor-trade company. Don't get me wrong i'm over the moon that I've found a decently paid job and prospects of a company car! However, I have struggled so much on the uniform part of it. I've been told that either a black/navy smart 'power' dress or navy/black pants and a white blouse.

Now, I haven't worn pants since high school (2008) and don't plan on doing! (this is due to having quite a vulumputious bottom and is made to look ten times bigger in them).
So, I have opted for the LBD! After endless trips to Meadowhall Shopping Centre and Online Shopping I have found potential wardrobe contenders! I'm looking for pieces that aren't figure hugging (visible lumps & bumps = BIG no no), are a reasonable length, easy to wash, and of course a decent price!

1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8

When looking for clothes I always go for the same four shops; these are my comfort shops (I will venture out later in my weight-loss). I have previously worked for Oasis, so i know the quality is great and don't mind paying the price (plus, they do NUS discount).
Next is my mum's favourite shop and where she purchases all her uniform - again the quality is great and reasonable prices!
Warehouse is quite pricey but if you shop smart you can get some great deals! (again, NUS) They always have offers on and again, great quality clothing.
Topshop is every girls favourite shop! I always look on the website just to see what is new and use the app to create my own look books (it keeps me from buying).

The power dresses i've purchased so far are skater style so they flatter my body shape and are easy materials to wash so no dry cleaning!!

Which are your 'go-to' shops when looking for work-wear or even when in the middle of weight loss?

meal plan; week one

So heres my meal plans for the next seven days.
I have a limit of 29 pro points per day, and I try to keep under this amount, just so it allows me to have a hot chocolate on a night (ww hot chocolate is only 1 points for 2 tsp made with boiling water).

Meal options I do tend to stay basic for the first few weeks just so I can get used to portion sizes (nothing worse than wanting seconds on something yummy)!

Plus, the great thing about pro points is, that you have additional 40 points that you can spend over the week on whatever you want. I like to spend mine on a cheeky glass of wine or even the temptation of a Diam! Bar - well, why not have a treat once a week?

Hello!

I've made a decision to create a blog where I can share my weight loss journey. I'll post weekly meal plans, exercise regimes and also outfit ideas that suit my body shape during it's change!

I've just recently started a new job where I'm on my feet a lot and need to be face to face with customers everyday, so by loosing the weight I'll be happier in myself and also be more comfortable! Plus, I'm sick of your-ing in between sizes! (My bank account doesn't like it either).

So, here's the part I hate the most ... measurements.

Start Weight: 179 lbs
Clothes size: 12 (top) 14 (bottom)
Bust: 33"
Waist: 32"
Hips: 41"
Right thigh: 25.5"
Left thigh: 25.5"
Right arm: 13"
Left arm: 12.5"

I aim to get myself to a solid size 10 and a nice healthy 140lbs.

Is anyone else in the process of loosing weight? I'd love to hear your tips and tricks to staying motivated!
